I am an observer. I am always looking for the subtle touches or emotions or movements that have impact. I’m waiting to see when the beauty happens in the midst of the chaos and capturing it all. I keep my eye out for the important details that matter. I watch for the moments that I know will happen when people are being authentic and connecting with each other.

ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Elkhart, Indiana, but my home has been Littleton, Massachusetts, since 2000. I share this crazy life with my husband, Todd, and two teenagers, Ben and Sarah, who show up in my photos less than they used to. We also have three adorable pet rats.
Some fun facts you might not know:
I missed my college graduation because I was on an exchange program in South Korea
The weirdest food I ever ate was tiny octopus cooked in front of me (see above)
I know all the words to more Broadway songs than I want to admit
Travel is one of my passions and I've probably already planned my next five trips in my head
(Morocco, Italy, Croatia, Cornwall, and Jekyll Island, not necessarily in that order)
I love British and Aussie TV shows, ice cream (must have chocolate), and the beach

NOTES
The pictures that Lori took in our home are ones that we will treasure forever. Lori perfectly framed our family during breakfast, playtime, and storytime to show how and why we love to spend time together. My absolute favorite picture is my children, in their PJs with messy hair, getting a piggyback ride from their dad. While they do not look "perfect," they look real and honest. The pure joy on their faces could never be replicated by a posed picture.

AN ABSOLUTE DREAM
Working with Lori was an absolute dream. We hired her to photograph the birth of our son, and we couldn't be happier with the results. She captured all the tiny details and the big picture of the entire experience. Capturing a birth story is a very intimate experience, and Lori handled it with extreme professionalism and compassion. I cannot recommend her enough!

EXACTLY WHAT WE HOPED FOR
My husband and I absolutely loved working with Lori! We had spoken to other photographers about how we wanted a documentary style, but they proceeded to tell us how they "do" weddings, which wasn't at all what we wanted. Lori actually listened to what we wanted and did it! Our photos are exactly what we were hoping for--amazing shots that are genuine because they weren't staged.
