Hi, I’m Lori!

I’ve spent my life wishing to capture real moments on camera and approaching the everyday from an artistic and natural viewpoint.

Whether it’s a newborn or family session, senior photos, or an event, my goal is to create images that capture the essence of a person, the emotion and atmosphere of the setting, and the connection between you and those you love.

I want you to have photographs that when you look at them, you will remember the big and little things, and how they made you feel.

I plan every session individually, from location to wardrobe advice to precisely tailored shot lists. On the day of your session or event, I want you to be relaxed and comfortable, because you don’t have to worry about a thing. Afterward I make sure you love your photos, and I can provide heirloom-quality products to display in your home as well as digital files.

As a documentary event photographer I am always looking for the special moments that tell a story. You have spent months or even years planning this day, and I am there to capture every detail! I will focus on your interactions with each other and your guests, documenting every step along the way, from getting ready to last dance. In addition to weddings, mitzvahs, and other celebrations, I am also available for educational and corporate events.

Birth Stories

When I am asked to document a birth story, there is no greater privilege for me. There is such intimacy in sharing this experience with my clients as they welcome a new baby, and I take this honor very seriously. As your birth photographer I am focused solely on you and your family for as long as it takes to meet your little one. Your images will tell your birth story the way it really happened, from beginning to end, with artistry and compassion, whether you deliver in a hospital, a birthing center, or your home.

I was introduced to Lori through a senior portrait she did of my great nephew early in the fall. I was so impressed with her work that we asked for an outside photo session for a family portrait in early November despite pandemic restrictions. We bothered her with multiple requests for poses and groupings and Lori did an amazing job to get us all into a variety of interesting combinations. When the digital proof sheets arrived I was thrilled to see that she had captured the essence of everyone.
