Fine art photography now available!

I love working with my clients–interacting with people is the heart of my business! But I also love photographing everything around me, wherever I go. My camera is almost always at hand just in case I come across something that moves me–and the beauty in the everyday world was the inspiration for the name of my business when I chose it in 2014. Turning what I see behind my lens into fine art is such a fulfilling way to document and remember the places I’ve been.

After all these years of gathering thousands of fine art images from my daily life and my travels, I am making them available for purchase through this online gallery. Choose from a wide range of products, from prints to various types of wall art. Simply sign in with your email (which is not saved and doesn’t sign you up for any mailing list), click the “add to cart” button, and choose which type of product and size you’d like. If you don’t see something you want, please ask! You will receive an invoice for payment and shipping after your order is submitted.

You can also purchase some of my images as blank 5×7 greetings cards through my Square online shop.

Questions? Comments? Post away! In the meantime, here are some of my favorite fine art images from my European travels this summer to whet your appetite.

Dezerae | Littleton MA senior photography

When I heard from a Littleton mom whose daughter wanted her senior photos taken at the town fire station, I immediately thought “How cool!” I love when clients have locations in mind, especially when they are something I haven’t done before! Dez is a super sweet, super fun young lady whose future is with the fire department, and she wanted that to come through in her photos. I couldn’t have been more excited.

We started at the fire station, and we even got to shoot in the brand-new fire truck. Then we did some more traditional portraits at a cool rustic location in Littleton, and we finished with a few shots at Long Lake. It was really fun to do a whole session in my own town. I loved how Dez’s photos turned out and so did she! This young woman is definitely going places and it was a real honor to work with her.

Chloe, Bedford HS | Carlisle MA senior photographer

I was so lucky to work with some amazing seniors last fall. As they are all about to graduate, I will be featuring their senior portrait sessions here on my blog and wishing them all the best in their new endeavors!

Chloe is a singer, which of course speaks to my musician’s heart. She is also the cutest and sweetest girl you could ever meet. She is going to be studying music at Belmont in Nashville this fall. Congrats, Chloe!

She wanted a natural setting with golden light for her session so we chose Great Brook Farm in Carlisle. It’s a location with a little bit of everything and we had a fantastic time. Afterward she said she loved feeling like a princess for a day. Every senior should get to experience that at least once, right? We had so much fun exploring everything this state park has to offer.

welcome baby girl | Concord MA birth photographer

I had a pretty busy fall, and one of the highlights was definitely photographing this birth at Emerson Hospital in Concord, Massachusetts. This wonderful family hired me to document the birth of their last baby (#5!) which was going to be a surprise if it was a boy or a girl. I was so excited to find out that mama was being induced and we could make plans for going to the hospital. I got there right when they did at 7 a.m. so every moment was captured, from their arrival with big sis A, who was six and really wanted to be there for the birth.

There was a lot of waiting–filling out paperwork, getting monitors set, and starting the Pitocin. Mama hadn’t been induced before so no one really knew how long it would take to get going, but we were prepared to hang out. Miss A did her homework, mama ordered some food (they let you eat before you give birth now–really??), and we all … waited.

The nurses suggested a walk around the halls so we went to check out the nursery. It was super quiet–no babies! At least not yet…

By that time the Pitocin was starting to kick in. Miss A wanted to snuggle with her mom before things got too intense.

Unfortunately A got a little scared so I walked her out to the lobby to find her aunt–and when I got back, there was a baby! Beautiful little baby girl G. It was a little sad that I missed the very moment she entered the world, but birth is unpredictable and that’s part of what makes it such a joy to document. You never know what’s going to happen!

Mom and dad were so happy their little girl was here. She was perfect and nursed right away like a champ!

Big sis A got to be the first in the family to meet her new little sister.

Then the nurse cleaned miss G up, got her weighed and footprinted, and I focused on the details. Such a gorgeous baby!

Finally big sister and dad got to hold her before they brought in the rest of the family–G’s three big brothers, grandma, aunt, and cousin.

Then everyone went home and it was just mama and her brand new precious little girl.

This is a day I will never forget, and it was such an honor to provide images for these parents to remember the day they became a family of seven! I can’t wait until I have another chance to welcome a new baby into the world. Could it be yours? If birth photography isn’t your thing, consider a Fresh 48 in the hospital to document your new little one. Oliver’s Fresh 48 | Gloucester, MA newborn photography

I can’t believe I never posted this sweet Fresh 48 I did back in May! I met baby Oliver and his family in Gloucester the day after he was born.

Big brother Reilly was there too, along with his grandma.

Reilly wasn’t super into hanging out with his new baby brother, but we captured a few sweet moments of the new family of four.

Of course Oliver’s mom and dad spent lots of time giving snuggles and love, and making sure he was well taken care of.

Two of Oliver’s aunties were there to spend a little time with him as well. Auntie Julie (with dark hair) actually gifted this session to her sister so they’d have some photos of this very special time in Oliver’s life.

I think these sweet moments between mom and dad are some of my favorites. Julie also asked that her special relationship with her sister be part of the images–these two clearly have a very special bond and they love to be silly together!

I just love spending time with families and their new little ones–babies are such a wonderful gift and capturing memories of their first days is one of the best kind of sessions! They are only this little for such a short, short time.
